Is E. turistas (NTIS) guest reporting mandatory for a holiday home in Lithuania?
Yes. Anyone providing accommodation services in Lithuania must report guest data to E. turistas (NTIS), regardless of property size or where the booking came from.
The duty comes from the Lithuanian Law on Tourism and applies to every accommodation provider: hotels, guesthouses, rural tourism homesteads, apartments and short-term rentals. The number of rooms or guests per year does not matter.
It also does not matter whether the guest booked through Booking.com, Airbnb or directly. The platforms do not report to NTIS on your behalf.
How Ovilo handles it
Ovilo files guest data to E. turistas through the official NTIS API, using the details the guest enters in the check-in form. Each reservation shows whether the report has been filed.
