The short version
This policy is for visitors to ovilo.lt and ovilo.io. You do not need an account to read the website, and we do not use advertising-tracking cookies. If you leave your email in the demo form, we use the data to contact you about Ovilo.
This policy does not cover guest data processed by hotels or other properties inside the Ovilo product. Separate product agreements and privacy terms apply there.
Who is responsible
Ovilo is responsible for personal data collected through this website. Send privacy questions, requests, or complaints to hello@ovilo.io.
What we receive
The demo form asks only for your email address. When you submit it, we also store the selected language, request source, IP address, browser user-agent string, and the referring page. This technical context helps us distinguish genuine requests from abuse and diagnose errors.

Why we use it and our legal basis
We process your email and request details to take steps at your request: contacting you, arranging a demo, and answering questions before a possible contract. We process technical information under our legitimate interest in securing the website, preventing abuse, and resolving faults.
You do not have to provide an email, but without it we cannot answer the demo request. We do not use this data for automated decision-making or profiling. Separate marketing updates would only be sent with an appropriate legal basis and a clear way to opt out.
Who else may process it
We use providers that keep the website and email working. Cloudflare delivers and protects the website; our infrastructure and database providers store demo requests; our email provider delivers messages. Google Fonts receives technical request information when your browser downloads the website fonts.
Providers receive only what is necessary for their service. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, GDPR transfer safeguards apply, such as European Commission standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep a demo request while it remains relevant to a conversation about Ovilo and afterwards only as reasonably needed for agreements, disputes, or legitimate business records. If you decide not to continue, you can ask us to delete the request at any time.
We limit technical-log retention according to security and fault-diagnosis needs. Deleted data may remain in backups until the ordinary overwrite cycle completes, but it is not used in day-to-day operations during that period.
Cookies and external fonts
We currently use no analytics, advertising, or behavioural-profiling cookies on the marketing website. Cloudflare may still process essential technical information while securing and delivering the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive supplied data in a portable format. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing data.
Send a request to hello@ovilo.io. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may also complain to Lithuania's State Data Protection Inspectorate or the supervisory authority where you live.
When this changes
We will update this policy if the website gains new forms or analytics tools, or if our use of data changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
