Is a booking system worth it for a single holiday home?
If bookings come from at least two sources or you welcome guests without meeting them, yes. If you have one unit, one channel and a few bookings a month, a calendar and a good template may be enough.
The benefit comes not from room count but from the repeated work after every booking: syncing calendars, the check-in link, NTIS, the door code, the invoice. For one home with weekend guests that is still ten times a month.
The second threshold is when Booking.com appears next to Airbnb, or direct bookings next to the platforms. From then on manual syncing starts costing double bookings.
How Ovilo handles it
The Ovilo S plan covers properties with up to 10 rooms, including a single homestead with several cabins. Moving over from Excel or a calendar is set up in an afternoon.
